Changing Way

This, of course, is the Big Bad Wolf. To be more specific, it is Ape Lad‘s second drawing of BBW. The first was a drawing I commissioned to accompany my Good Little Wolf story. (Or was the first one in a drawing of Little Red Riding Hood?)

We recently added to our collection of wolf tales when The True Story of the Three Little Pigs arrived from Amazon yesterday. I’m not sure whether it’s true, but it does present the wolf’s case that he didn’t set out to harm any pigs, only to get some sugar to make a birthday cake for his dear grandmother. My 3-year-old daughter has demanded it several time already.

I notice that there is a favorably reviewed book about The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig. But we may be pigged out for now.
