WordPress on Wallstrip

Toni Schneider, CEO of Automattic, was on today’s Wallstrip chat. For me, the most interesting points were:
- On ads at WordPress.com: “We serve some ads, but they’re very subtle, and very specific.”
- On Automattic $: “we’re about breakeven”.
- On Yahoo, Toni’s former employer: he still uses Yahoo email; he is long on the firm.
Other entities about which he was asked the long/short question include: Movable Type; Facebook; iTunes; net neutrality; Wallstrip. Toni is long on only one of those 5 things. You’ll have to check out the show to see which one.
