Changing Way

… so this picture seems appropriate.

It’s Maddie pushing Max on the swing this evening, much of the day having been taken up by his first birthday party. The birthday itself is tomorrow.

I still find it strange that the boundaries of summer are so sharply and officially defined here in the states. But since Labor Day ended over an hour ago, so did summer. As I said, it was a blur, seeming to have gone by faster than a speeding daughter.
