Goodreads Widget

WordPress.com, the host of this and millions of other blogs, does not allow Flash. That makes it impossible to use widgets such as the one that shows the books I’ve told Goodreads that I’m currently reading.
But is it really impossible? You never know until you try…

okay you got it in a post…but how do you put it in a side bar???

Ugh, please tell me how you did this. I am having the worst time finding a good/attractive way to post book lists, and this may be my best option if i can make it work.

Unfortunately, Clearspring is doing away with the widget format I used here. I’ll post about this soon, but it doesn’t look as though there’s a good path forward.
