The answer to your first question is that I have the CSS upgrade, and my custom CSS includes:

}

I think that the second question is about you having to identify yourself to wordpress.com. I think that what happened is that wordpress.com decided it was time to check that you are still who you were claiming to be as you were making your comment. This blog is still hosted at wordpress.com

However, I do have one (slightly) unrelated question. My blog is also currently run on wordpress.com, how were you able to get the (powered by wordpress.com) banner at the bottom to go away? Also, why did I need to fill out these forms, in the intervening time between this post, and this comment, you switched to wordpress.org.
