We went to Brookline Artists’ Open Studios yesterday. After some persuasion, the kids went to sleep in the double stroller. by that time, lunch was a priority.
We went to Matt Murphy’s in Brookline Village. Any guilt we felt about heading for food rather than for art went away when we realized that we were sitting under a huge colorful rabbit. Yes, MM’s was one of the sites for the open studios. No, rabbit stew was not on the menu.
I ordered the Pork Hash. I was expecting it to look like a corned beef hash breakfast, but this was brunch in Brookline, so here’s what I got. It set me up for an arty afternoon.
