Read/Write Web: it’s not just a blog, it’s a network! Richard recently announced the launch of last100, a blog about “the digital lifestyle.”
The best way to get a concrete idea of what the last100 lifestyle/blog entails is to read specific posts. Some early/recent examples include: a review of Joost, the online TV service; a poll about Skype; and a short post on the Amazon DRM-free music download store.
Good things about last 100 include:
- It’s (proudly) powered by WordPress. (The main RWW blog uses Movable Type.) One of the comments on the Skype poll is about the cool and AJAXy polling mechanism, which is provided by a WordPress plugin.
- Static ads only – no animation (it’s too distracting to readers and likely will harm your brand too).
- It drew a generous welcome post from Read/Write Wrival TechCrunch.
Hey thanks nice post. yYou gave me some ideas.http://freeworldmp3.blogspot.com
