Judging a Book by Its Coverville

It has been a good week at Lake Coverville. All right, it’s a podcast, not a lake, but it’s been a good week anyway. In the current show, Brian interviews the author of Sounds Like Teen Spirit, a book about songs that just happen to sound like other songs. They play some examples, illustrating sources of inspiration for U2 and Led Zep, among others.

There have been two other posts within the last week. One features a quiz on samples used by French hip-hop artists; you ‘ave to ‘ear it. The other features a David Hasselhoff “music” video; well, even my favorite podcast has its lapses…
