ICA Boston: Dance, Divine Gas, etc.

We went to the ICA this afternoon. This being the last Saturday of the month, it was FREE for families (up to 2 adults accompanied by children 12 and under). There was a rather cool dance thing, and there were arty things for Maddie to do.

divinegasica.jpgThe first thing you see upon entering is The Divine Gas, Chiho Aoshima’s work for the ICA. It is on the Fineberg Art Wall, which “is dedicated to monumental, site-specific works by leading contemporary artists, commissioned annually.”

Yes, it’s true: The Divine Gas will pass. I rather like it, but I also look forward to seeing what will take its place on the wall later this year.
