We broke the six-hour journey from Boston to the in-laws’ place with a stop at Quassy Amusement Park. Here’s the Saturation Station living up to its name.
It was a good choice of stop, especially since, after 5pm, the prices dropped. Rides were a quarter. So were bags of cotton candy (although there was a limit). Hot dogs were twice that: the four of us shared six of them, along with some (generously portioned but regularly priced) french fries and other health food.
The most exciting thing to happen so far here in Blue Bell, PA, is that I had to climb in through an upstairs window. Max, our almost-2yo son, locked himself in a bedroom. I’m hoping for no more excitement of that nature.
